Artist Showcase 2000

This is the day when all the Teddy Bear Artists come to the shop to sign bears, meet customers and show off their new bears. We have had six showcases, and every year the artists surprise us with their designs.
This is Ben Raffle with "Hugo". Hugo is a double jointed neck bear, made of gold curly mohair.
Beth Hill is our only "foreigner", all the way from North Carolina. She makes some lovely bears.
Jackie Feltz never ceases to amaze us. Each year there is something brand new.
Melanie Nathan really loves to sew, by hand. Not a stitch is done by on a machine. And almost all her bears are girls.
This little fellow was made by Susan Corey. Susan was our very first artist back in 1992. She has continued to make bears for us all this time. All their names are of Irish origin.
Susan Kuhns is our miniature bear artist. Not many people have the patience or the skills to do the intricate stitches these little bears require.
Valerie Burner's version of a wizard named Harry with his pet owl. He is about 5" tall.

This year the Artist Showcase will be on Saturday, October 27th. Not only will these great Teddy Bear Artists be here, but a newcomer to our shop, Donna Coate will also be bringing her new bears for all of us to see.
Plan on coming to this event, it is one of our best.
